Film Maker

World War Two influenced my life a lot. Because of all the bloody battles and all the countries that were involved, I used the idea to make movies based on World War II. They became big hits and are still viewed today!

Life in the Great Depression

During the Great Depression, people lost their jobs. It didn't matter how poor or rich you were...everyone suffered. A lot of people had to search for food...some even went through garbage bags, but most people just lived off of "powdered milk, dry beans, and potatoes". Throughout the Great Depression job unemployment rose from around 5 million to almost 13 million just within a year. Children left school to try and help their families. Homes were being taken away as well. As you can see The Depression caused man people to suffer.

Causes of the great depression

The Great Depression was an effect of international debt structure. The Great Depression leads back to one of the main events...the stock maret crash (AKA Black Tuesday). Because of people losing stock and taking out loans...the US eventually went into debt. As a result the US had to suffer through a time period known as The Great Depression. The thing that got us out of the depression however was war.
